We love getting people in to crafts, so why not start young!! 

Our children’s parties combine making and having fun.

Unfortunately, (due to insurance), we can no longer offer children’s parties here at The Making House, but Anna can come to you.

We offer a variety of children’s making parties suitable for 6 years upwards, including sewing, jewellery making, clay, paper pulp, recycled sculptures, T.shirt upcycling, wet felting for younger children and even needle felting for teenagers.

A normal party at The Making House last for 2 hours and include an 80 minute making session with time for food and cake at the end.

Prices vary dependent on numbers and type of craft project, but as a quick guide we charge:

– £12- £14 per head, £100 minimum fee.

Party invites can be provided. With both options we do ask you to bring your own birthday cake.

We hope that a couple of parents will be happy to stay and join in the party, offering a little help from time to time with the activities; for ages 6 to 10, we insist!

Fabric Party Bags

For an extra £2 start the party by creating your own party bag or mini tote bag to take home; decorate the bags with your own designs using a selection of fabric pens and paints. The bags will then be fixed so that they’re washable and you can use them over and over again.
