The Making House
Welcome to The Making House
The Making House was set up in 2011 by Anna Roebuck on return to her home town of Burton on Trent.
We are now settled in in our downstairs studio space and offer a variety of creative workshops and projects both in house and in venues around the country.
Come along and unlock you inner artist with Anna and her colleagues!
At The Making House you’ll find:
We offer courses in a variety of crafts and practical skills. Many of the courses have a focus on recycling and sustainability. Anna also teaches a variety of silversmithing and jewellery workshops.
At our regular Friday Craft Club, you can try out lots of new crafts, share ideas and of course chat!
Our weekly craft club happens every Friday 10.30am – 1pm, £5 including refreshments and cake.
We offer a variety of parties for boys, girls and grown ups; choose from a variety of craft and jewellery making activities.
We cater for adults too …..Why not book a creative hen party or just have a get together with friends; have a couple of drinks, some nibbles and make something fantastic!
Anna delivers projects around the country, predominantly based around recycling, in particular recycling plastics. The Making House is her studio and is used as a test space for ideas with our creative community often helping to produce and finish work.
We’re always looking for opportunities to work on collaborative projects too.
