Family Fun Lichfield Garrick

Tracey Parr and myself spent a fun weekend creating a foot fit for a giant.

I was commissioned by Lichfield Garrick to create something to promote their panto ‘Jack and The Beanstalk’. The plan was to create the foot in an empty shop in Lichfield, inviting passers by to help. Sadly the empty shop plan didn’t come off, but we really enjoyed making the foot none the less.

We dropped it off at The Garrick just in time for the private view of the panto ….Oh yes we did! We then got to see the panto; I have to say it’s the first panto I’ve seen since I was about 9 and although Tracey told me it would be fun, I wasn’t absolutely convinced, turns out panto is great! I thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Family Fun Days at The Garrick

This was the launch to the family fun days I’ve been delivering at The Lichfield Garrick. I’ve delivered a monthly drop in workshop to support the performances that they’ve had on. The workshops have ranged from big and bold projects to more simple make and take activities. As well as my workshop there’s been poetry workshops, trails, dressing up, stories and of course some wonderful performances.
