So I’m not doing too well at the blog posts, but I have been adding to the more permanent pages of the website, in between making new ranges of jewellery, display stands and seagulls!

Craft Club

Our regular Craft Club is a major part of what we do here; we now have a plan for the whole term, including printing, batiq, ties dying and natural dyeing techniques, Christmas sewing, decoupage and mosaic projects ….and creating a giant pumpkin! Felting

After a really enjoyable series of felting sessions at Craft Club,  Emma one of our regulars and textile expert decided to run a workshop …

Introduction to Wet Felting

Saturday 15th October 10am – 4pm, £45

Learn the basics of felting and create a beautiful bowl with our textile expert Dr Emma Hodges.

In the morning you will be introduced to the basic principles of wet felting and will be able to experiment with fibres creating a small 2D piece. After getting to grips with the basics in the morning, you will then learn how to create a 3D form. Exploring different colours and fibres you will make your own unique vessel .
