This year over 70 local homes, businesses, halls and churches will be opening their doors to nearly 120 artists in the heart of Melbourne featuring a variety of mediums and styles of work all of which will be for sale from £5 to £5000

You’ll find Judith at 16 Church Street (Turn right just after ‘The Old Brewery’)

Melbourne Festival of Creative and Performing Arts

Melbourne Festival is now into its TENTH year. The Festival is eagerly awaited by local people and visitors from far afield, Melbourne Festival is the highlight of South Derbyshire’s cultural calendar. People pour in to take advantage of the programme taking place in this gem of a town hidden away between Derby, Nottingham and Leicester.

Art, music, food, crowds of people and usually the sun shines! Everyone can enjoy a late summer splash of colour and energy as each September Melbourne comes alive as a hub for the creative and performing arts.

Melbourne Arts Trail Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September

The Art and Architecture Trail consists of easy-walking loops around the central streets of Melbourne. The Trail can be started at any point, but you will need a Trail Badge and a Trail Guide to enter the buildings which will cost £5. The Trail Guide consists of a map of Melbourne with Festival sites marked. The Trail Badge is a pass to get into all the houses and halls free of charge.
